Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 7 October 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets the rules for using the JobTek Services: www.jobtek.com, app.jobtek.com, jobtek.net, JobTek’s mobile apps, and any related APIs or hosted services.

By using JobTek, you agree to comply with this Policy. Breaches may lead to suspension or termination under JobTek’s Terms & Conditions.

1. General Principles

Use JobTek lawfully, responsibly, and with respect for others. You are responsible for all content processed through your account, including content added by your users or customers.

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1 Illegal or Fraudulent Activity

  • Engaging in or promoting illegal acts; impersonation; deception or fraud.

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.

2.2 Unsolicited or Abusive Communications

  • Sending spam, bulk or unsolicited marketing without valid consent.

  • Harassment, threats, defamation, or discriminatory content.

2.3 Harmful or Malicious Content

  • Uploading malware, viruses, or code intended to harm systems or data.

  • Unauthorised access, probing, or interference with JobTek systems or other users’ data.

2.4 Intellectual Property and Data Rights

  • Uploading or transmitting content you do not have a right to use.

  • Infringing third-party IP or privacy rights.

  • Collecting or processing personal data without a lawful basis.

2.5 Platform Misuse

  • High‑volume automated activity that degrades performance or stability.

  • Circumventing plan limits, user counts, or billing terms.

  • Selling, reselling, sublicensing, or sharing access without permission.

  • Misuse or interception of system notifications (push or email) or address lookup/mapping integrations.

3. Email and Forms

JobTek provides email handling and hosted forms to manage customer enquiries—not a bulk marketing platform. You must have a lawful basis to contact recipients. JobTek may limit outbound email if JobTek detect high bounces, spam complaints, or misuse.

4. Security Responsibilities

  • Keep credentials secure; use strong, unique passwords; manage user permissions.

  • Notify JobTek promptly of suspected unauthorised access or security issues.

  • Safeguard exported data and connected integrations.

5. Data Storage and Retention

JobTek is not a long‑term archival repository. Export or back up data you need to retain outside JobTek. JobTek may delete data from closed or inactive accounts per JobTek’s retention policy.

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

We do not routinely monitor user content but may review activity to comply with law, protect system integrity, or investigate complaints. Actions may include warnings, content removal, suspension/termination, and reporting to authorities.

7. Reporting Misuse

Report abuse to abuse@jobtek.com.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
